Strategic objectives

CIFA works with well defined strategic objective including the following:

  1. To enhance community livelihoods through improved livestock health and management practices.
  2. To improve market access and information for livestock producers in Marsabit County and Southern Ethiopia.
  3. Improve availability and accessibility of natural resources (portable water, rangelands etc) for human, livestock and crop production in a conserved and sustainably managed environment.
  4. To promote and improve access to quality education.
  5. To strengthen participatory management and governance in all learning institutions within the project areas.
  6. To contribute to peaceful coexistence of communities in Marsabit County and Southern Ethiopia by.
  7. Support community means of livelihoods through economic diversification.
